Discover the power Microblading

Microblading is a semi-permanent eyebrow enhancement technique that involves using a fine blade to deposit pigments into the skin, creating natural-looking hair strokes. This treatment is ideal for those looking to define, shape, or fill in sparse eyebrows. Microblading typically lasts between 1-3 years, depending on skin type and aftercare, offering a low-maintenance solution for fuller, more defined brows. It is performed by a trained professional and provides a more precise, natural look compared to traditional eyebrow tattoos.

Microblading is performed by a trained technician who uses a small, handheld tool with fine blades to create precise, hair-like strokes on the eyebrow area. First, the technician maps out the ideal eyebrow shape based on your facial features. Once the area is prepared, the technician gently makes small incisions in the skin and deposits pigment into the outer layer of the skin. A numbing cream is then applied to minimise discomfort. This process mimics the natural growth pattern of eyebrow hairs, resulting in a fuller, more defined look. The procedure usually takes about 2.5 hours, and aftercare instructions are provided to ensure optimal healing and results.

🌿 How to Prepare for Your Microblading Appointment

To get the best results and ensure a smooth healing process, follow these simple steps before your microblading session:

1.

Avoid Blood Thinners

For 24–48 hours before your appointment, avoid:

  • Alcohol
  • Caffeine (yes, even your morning coffee!)
  • Aspirin, ibuprofen, and other blood-thinning medications or supplements (unless prescribed—check with your doctor first)

These can increase bleeding and affect pigment retention.

2.

Pause Certain Skincare Products

Stop using these at least 3–5 days before your appointment:

  • Retinol or Vitamin A creams
  • Exfoliating acids (AHA/BHA)
  • Accutane (you must wait 6 months after finishing treatment)

These can make your skin too sensitive or thin for treatment.

3.

No Waxing or Tanning

  • Avoid facial waxing, tinting, or tweezing your brows for at least 1 week before
  • No sunbathing or fake tanning on the face for 2 weeks before—sunburned skin cannot be treated

4.

Stay Hydrated and Moisturised

Drink plenty of water and keep your skin healthy and moisturised in the week leading up to your appointment. Well-hydrated skin heals better!

5.

Plan Around Big Events

Microblading involves a healing process (with light scabbing and color changes), so try to avoid scheduling your treatment right before holidays, weddings, or big occasions. Healing takes about 10–14 days, with full results visible in 4–6 weeks.

6.

Come With Clean Skin

Arrive to your appointment with:

  • No makeup on the brow area
  • No heavy moisturiser or SPF
  • No contact lenses if you’re having eyeliner done too (bring glasses!)

7.

Know Your Brow Goals

Bring photos of brows you love! We’ll talk through your ideal shape and shade to create a look that enhances your natural beauty.
